Design and Construction of Stormwater, Wastewater and Water Supply Networks

CBA Consultants designs and manages the construction of stormwater, wastewater and water supply networks for local government authorities and private clients. Once CBA Consultants has determined your requirements for stormwater, wastewater and water supply, we design and manage the construction of networks to meet your requirements and those of local government authorities.

CBA Consultants conducts an investigation, including hydrological and hydraulic calculations and, if necessary, computer modelling to ascertain the best options for stormwater, wastewater and water supply networks. We manage liaison and negotiations with stakeholders, and obtain the necessary consents from local government authorities. Once final designs are approved by the client, CBA Consultants manages the tendering process, and oversees construction work.

Some of the tasks we undertake as part of the design and construction of stormwater, wastewater and water supply networks are:

  • data collection, using GIS, surveying and remote sensing
  • hydrologic and hydraulic computer modelling
  • conducting an environmental impact assessment
  • preparing and processing your Resource Consent application, including management of consultation with Iwi, community groups, and other stakeholders
  • developing network design solutions for the client
  • contract administration.

CBA Consultants uses a range of specialist software applications to undertake the design and construction of stormwater, wastewater and water supply networks. These include:

  • Danish Hydraulic Institute tools such as MIKE URBAN, MIKE NET, MIKE SWMM
  • US Army Corps software HEC series as such HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS
  • ILSAX
  • EPANET.
